No Baycon/Other news

Well, apparently Justin's not going to Baycon and neither am I. I guess it's just as well since I really can't afford it right now. Plus, it looks like I may have to fly to Florida, because my cousin in Fort Lauderdale died last night, and the funeral is Sunday morning. Airfare is looking ridiculously expensive on such short notice right now, but if I can somehow find a flight I'll need someone to take care of Kitty and all his medications, and to check on chythar's cats, which I'm supposed to be doing this weekend. The usual cat sitter just moved out of state so I just hope Justin can help me out with this.

Thanks! Well, Justin wouldn't go, but he's the only one I can think of who might be able to take care of Kitty on such short notice on a holiday weekend. Kitty needs so many medicines for his diabetes, renal failure, heart problems, etc. that it's hard to leave him alone.

Thanks:). Kitty's doing amazingly well considering all his health problems. He's been diabetic for at least 8 years, and I guess it's catching up to him. But since he's on the medication to slow his heart down he's more active and alert than I've seen him in years (if ever), so I guess he's feeling better!

Actually, I tried that but he refuses to eat the kidney diet food, so I had to go out and buy Friskies for him just to get him to eat at all.

I thought Friskies had a whole range of food from Kitten to Ederly to Weight Loss, etc?

Hmm. Well, the only one I saw besides the regular ones when I was in the supermarket was the Special Diet one, and it didn't seem to be for what Kitty has. I don't know if they make one that's good for the kidneys. At least he's eating something and seems to be doing well.
