Weekend Update

sharanHmm. So much for getting a paid account stopping the server problems. My Livejournal client tried 3 times to post that last one and said it failed, but it seems to have made it up anyway.
Well, I had another busy weekend. I got a lot of programming done on my Spider Solitaire game. I got all the back-end setup done (creating decks, dealing cards, etc.) and it now displays the cards on the screen (Yay!). I just have to finish the code to draw out the card faces (right now it just puts the number/letter in the top left corner of the card) and then I have to work on the mouse code so you can actually start playing. So it's not a finished game yet but by the end of next weekend it should be!
I also went to my friend's party saturday to celebrate quitting her job. That was fun.
I even had time to play some Dungeon Seige. Great game. It is a lot like Nethack in 3D, and my roommate said.
And now I'm back at work. *sigh* I'd rather be home programming. At least it's slow here again, just a lot of waiting around for people (which is why I'm posting;).).
