sharanWell, I've been really busy lately (in fact I have 3 midterms this week, one of which was yesterday), but I had some big news I wanted to post (and maybe more big news in about an hour if I'm lucky). Well, my roommate decided for a Christmas present to get me a new logo and website design from Design Outpost for Rockers Online my music website (which has sadly been languishing for lack of time to update it). Well, the new design combined with finding out about this contest here at USC finally got me moving. I spent most of spring break (instead of going to NY/Lunacon, sadly, like I originally planned) and the past couple of weeks working on getting the new design up, and it's still not all there yet, but most of the major non-artist pages are up (getting those database driven will take a while and will probably have to wait for classes to end for the summer). Thanks to my roommate's recommendation of Web Wiz Guide ASP software I now have forums, a poll, mailing list software (not up yet), and database driven news and updates (now called Rockers Ramblings). I also created a syndicated feed for the news at ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-syndicated.gif)

Well, right now I'm sitting around campus (trying to study for my Electrical Engineering midterm tomorrow) since the awards ceremony for USC webfest is in at 4pm today, so we'll see if I actually won anything:).
Meanwhile feel free to check out the site, answer the poll (2 votes doesn't look too good, especially when I know they're from my roommate and my mother;)), join the forums, etc. if you get a chance:). I'm trying to really turn the site into a viable business (although I'm sure it'll take a while). I've got a lot of 80s music there (rock/new wave/metal/etc.), plus progressive rock, progressive metal, and melodic rock/AOR. So check it out here.
