Note to Self

Checking Livejournal once a month doesn't work too well when my friends page only goes back about 2 weeks. I guess I need to figure out a way to check in a little more often.

Looks like another insanely busy semester. I was actually attempting to keep up on all the reading for all the classes and finally realized I'm going to have to focus on homework and other required stuff first, and then read as I have time, so this doesn't drive me nuts. It's not like I've done all the reading in the past, and I've still done fine. And work's been busy too (there's a deadline at the end of the week). We're working out of a coffee shop in Venice right now because the office situation has not been pretty:P.

I really don't want to be awake right now.

Well, I'm working for Justin now and he didn't have an office yet (and the original one he almost got turned into a fiasco and fell through). We were working from home but it was hard for anyone to get motivated to get anything done, so we did the coffee shop thing for a few weeks. He finally did get an office a couple of weeks ago (a cool Japanese-style house in Venice) so we've been moving in, and until the dsl modem finally showed up today he kept stealing out dsl modem from here which didn't exactly help me get on here:(.

I'm also right in the middle of midterms (I shouldn't even be checking here but I'm avoiding reading boring Software Engineering stuff for tomorrow's midterm) and I'm actually flying to NY this weekend for my 20 year HS reunion.

Hopefully things will calm down in a couple of weeks. I'm seriously thinking of writing up a post on how to survive going back to school since so many people on my friends list seem to be doing that lately.
