Big writing news!

I just got an e-mail from jeffstrand that they want to buy my story "Food For Thought" for the "Until Someone Loses An Eye" anthology! Since the "Dark Rapture" anthology that previously bought a different story pretty much imploded before I even got a contract much less published, this would make my first real sale!

P.S. I guess it's a little late to get on Worldcon programming, but I guess now I can justify it for Loscon, Baycon, etc...

Yeah, I've been on programming for east coast cons, but for some reason I never really tried to do that since I moved out here. My roommate's on programming for this Worldcon, since he's a game programmer with 28 years experience so he can talk about computers, games, etc. And he hasn't sold any fiction, although he writes for Game Developer magazine pretty regularly.

Maybe I'll try for Worldcon the next time it's somewhere I can get to (Japan is highly unlikely).
