It's back!!!!!!!

After over a month and $997 I FINALLY have my laptop back! I'm on campus right now with it. Damn, I missed this thing! Maybe now I won't feel quite so much like I'm falling behind on everything now.

Yeah, maybe I could have gotten a brand new laptop for that price but not one this good (this one still sells for a minimum of $1600 new, and IBM just don't have anything new I really wanted right now). I may buy a gig of ram and put it in so I'll at least feel like I got an upgrade out of this.

Limbo

Hey Sharan,
I've been wanting to call, but the time difference is hard. I'm ok and still alive. I'm still waiting for my house to close, which should be by the end of the week. When that happens, I'll be able to start with my life out here, until then I'm in limbo and have been since I landed.
I wanted to go to coral's and see everyone one more time, but I was hysterical and would have been sobbing away if I had gone. I hope you understand, it was too hard. Even writing now has me missing so much too much and wanting to cry a bit, but I'm at the public library and that wouldn't be good. I'm not a bigger cry or terribly sentimental, but it would have been too much if I had gone.
For some reason my earthlink mail box is closed and I can't access my mail...when I get a new mailbox I'll send.
I guess that's it....Mona
