UPDATE: I also found this:

which links to the official ACLU press prelease here:

That's pretty damning.

I officially survived my first semester at USC! Not only survived, but it looks like I have straight A's! I'm still waiting for the official grade report, but so far what I know I have is:

Precalculus - A (teacher posted the grades on his website)
Video Game Production - Weighted total: 97.5%
Data Structures - 617.6 out of a possible 640 points (I actually got 99 out of 100 on the final:)).

That looks like straight A's to me! And all that while still working part time at the same place I've been working for the past 3 1/2 years. I probably could have gotten grades like that the first time around if I'd really tried, but I wasn't as motivated then (and got really burned out by the end).

Next semester will be interesting, though. I'm taking 5 classes/16 credits (I need 16 credits to be eligible for financial aid, which I didn't find out about until AFTER I dropped a class this semester so I could work). I'll still be working too, although my hours are a lot more limited then. It should be fun, though. I'm taking Video Game Programming (for the Video Game Programming minor), a VB class in Lego Mindstorm programming, Computers and Society, Electrical Engineering 101: Intro to Digital Circuits, and Calculus 1. And most importantly, NO 8am classes this time!:)
