Things are finally starting to settle down now that my classes are over and after today I get off from work until January 5th, so hopefully I'll have a chance to catch up on some posts here. I had a lot going on over the past few weeks I wanted to post about!

That's their first album:). They had a different singer on that one but it was still good!

Dream Theater are a really good Progressive Metal band from Long Island (except for the lead singer who's from Canada). They had one fairly big hit back in the 80's, "Pull Me Under". They have a HUGE following now. They did a tour last summer with Queensryche and Fates Warning which was pretty amazing!:) Their web site is http://www.dreamtheater.net/ (http://www.dreamtheater.net/).

I really need to start posting here more often. It's been a weird week off. I've been doing a lot but not the things I planned on doing. And I did nothing for Christmas or New Years, even though we were planning on doing another BBQ for New Years Eve which we never got around to doing anything about so it never happened.

WRT: Dream Theater, I knew "Pull Me Under" but not much more, hence my wondering if the album in question was appropriate. ;)

Damn, I kept meaning to post here and just never got around to it. *sigh*

Don't worry about it!:) The problem wasn't so much lack of plans as any plans we did have just falling apart. We'd been planning another BBQ for that afternoon for a couple of months and just never got around to sending out the invitations until it was too late. And then we meant to go out to a bar but went to Ikea and Fry's that afternoon and were exhausted afterward and fell asleep and didn't wake up until 9:30pm and at that point it just wasn't worth going anywhere. So even if we had been invited we may not have made it anyway because we were just having one of those days/weeks where any plans wind up falling though.

Thanks! It's been good, but busy. The week and a half off between Christmas and New Years wasn't nearly enough! I hope you're having a great year so far too!:)
