Snow

I'm in NY now for my cousin's wedding tomorrow night. Just my luck they get a snow storm here! They expect about a foot of snow and it won't stop snowing until tomorrow night. We're waiting for a taxi to the train station to get out for the rehearsal dinner since traffic is so bad, and it looks like we'll have to stay at my aunt's house until sunday when I have to go catch my plane home. Well, as long as it stops snowing by then! Damn, I miss L.A.;). It's not the snow per se (I never minded that) but the cold that goes with it I hate:(.

Just got off of a quick AIM discussion with my bro re: snow. He says that you're in the midst of at least 7-9 inches already.

At least you are only there to visit, and not for however long it takes to clean that crap up!

Yeah, it's pretty bad! We wound up taking a taxi to the train station, the train out to Port Jefferson, and then got a taxi to the restaurant. Other people drove and said it took hours! At least I won't have to be here that long, and the snow is supposed to stop tomorrow night so hopefully the airports will be back to normal by sunday afternoon when my flight leaves!:) My brother's stuck in Chicago right now but he did manage to get a flight to Islip tomorrow morning, so hopefully he will make it to the wedding!

Well, I guess this will make me appreciate L.A. that much more:)
