Ah, the good old days on the SFRT on GEnie. Damn, I miss that place. I had no idea Wil Wheaton was there too! I don't remember that, but I wonder if I knew him. He's going to be at Loscon so I may have to try to meet him there and ask him. I've known for a while now that he's a very cool guy (definitely a Fan) and this gives me even more respect for him. Unfortunately I couldn't make his last appearance at LASFS, but I saw him once before there and he was a very cool speaker!

I actually used to run RTC (Real-Time Conferences, thier version of IRC) on the Science Fiction Roundtables and hung out in RTC all the time.

Ah, the old days of logging in on my 286 on my 2400 baud modem... O.K., I guess I'm dating myself here;). But those were fun times!

Hey, Sharan--I knew you in those days, if I'm not mistaken. :) Not sure if you'll see this comment, but I just wanted to say hi and that I miss the old SFRT days, too. 1200-baud modem and all. (I remember how 9600 felt like lightspeed. The scroll would actually go past faster than I could read.)
