I know I haven't posted in a long time (I have been too busy to even check in. There's a lot going on) but just because I can, I'm posting from my Las Vegas hotel room (Thank you T-Mobile! They now have unlimited internet access through your cellphone for $19.99 a month and I have a Sony Ericsson t68i phone with bluetooth, a bluetooth memory stick for my Clie, and now a usb bluetooth adapter for my laptop. It's great:)). I'm here for Classic Gaming Expo, which is fun. I picked up the driving controller for my colecovision today for $10.

There's been a lot going on lately. The lease on my Civic finally ends on the 21st of this month, so I finally got the car of my dreams to replace it! I now own a 1990 Camaro! It's in good shape for a 13 year old car (except for the air conditioning which is too expensive to fix right now). It's red, so all it needs is a purple paint job to make it perfect!;) I also just ordered custom plates for it: SMPHNY X:). I think it fits the car really well, and Symphony X ARE my favorite band!

I understand this entirely!

Although I must admit that my purple Mustang's paint job needs a touch up at this point...

;)

Never heard of Symphony X, tho. Will need to give it a try.

Classic Game Expo sounds like a blast! Enjoy

Yeah, purple sports cars are great, aren't they?:) Actually, you should meet Matt, the other programmer I work with sometime. He has TWO Mustangs now. He had one and then he bought a GT through ebay. He's always telling me about the upgrades he's doing on his cars. Purple's his favorite color too, although he seems to prefer his mustangs to be black.

Symphony X are really good! They're a progressive metal band, a little like Dream Theater.

Classic Gaming Expo was fun! We were talking to a friend of Justin's and then we saw him do a panel, and it turned out he was the programmer who did the original Frogger. He was a nice guy! I also got to see the person who started Atari talk.

BTW, did you get my e-mail about the BBQ we're having tomorrow? I hope you'll be able to make it!

I really do need to start checking in here more often. Of course I just registered for Computer Science classes at West Los Angeles College, so I suspect things are going to stay pretty busy for a while!;)
