Weird

I just got a call on my cell phone from T-Mobile. I thought they were calling to nag me about the bill (which I paid via online billpay this weekend) since they text messaged me about it last week. It was pretty big since I had 2 cell phones for a few weeks while I opened a new line to get a free N-Gage QD, and I've been so swamped with class I totally missed the last bill and got this one out a little late.

Actually, they were calling as a courtesy to thank me for my payment. They got it.

I like these guys. I only wish they had better reception for their phones!

Another Finola Hughes Signing

For people around here who're interested, Finola Hughes is doing another book signing tonight at 7 at Brentano's Century City. My roommate told me he'd come with me this time and bring his digital camera (I still haven't finished the roll on the disposable camera I bought last time) so I'll be missing class tonight for that (unless I manage to get out early enough to make it).

I survived another midterm last night. A really nasty one. But since class ends a week from Thursday (finally!!!) I suspect it's the last midterm. To reward myself for getting through it I tried playing games last night, but something didn't want me to. I played The Sims 2 for about 1/2 hour (at least the crashing problem seems to be fixed for that too) and my only character died, electrocuted while fixing her computer! I wasn't too happy with how that game was going anyway so I may go back to an old backup and restore the entire directory. Then I tried playing World of Warcraft and the server started acting up and they shut it down. At 11pm I gave up and decided to go to sleep early.
