I'm in!!!

Well, it's official! I came home today to a big envelope from USC. I've been accepted as a transfer student for a second bachelors in Computer Science for the fall! Yay!:) It should be interesting being 34 years old and a junior in college (again). But now I can get the computer science and math background and not have to worry about people not taking me seriously because I'm only a web developer without a computer science degree.

BTW, things are finally settling down here so I'm hoping to start catching up more and actually start posting again. My final for my Spanish class is finally over, and now I just have to finish unpacking from the move (a 2 bedroom apt. diagonally across from the old one opened up a few weeks ago so my roommate and I grabbed it! It's still ground floor facing the courtyard, so we still have the great view of the pool/jacuzzi.). I'm taking the summer off from classes, since I really need a break before I go to USC.

And now for the financial aid/scholarship hunt. USC is NOT cheap!

That is just sooooo sweeeet! Are you gonna give them 2 weeks notice via letter or in person, god i so wish i could be there to watch you tell your boss to fuck off... hehe eh But sweet congrats and good lick on the hunt for cash,.

Thanks! Yeah, that should be interesting, especially after they gave me such a hard time when I wanted to take 2 weeks off around Worldcon;). Well, now it's 2 years instead! I'll tell them in person sometime in the beginning of August once I know my schedule and it's closer to the start of classes. I may actually offer to work part time depending on my class schedule. I guess we'll see what happens:).
