Why I'm so busy

O.K., now that that sticky mess is over with maybe I should post something about what's going on with me:) I really do need to post here more. I think lately I keep wanting to post but then wind up talking to my roommate about things and get it out of my system without ever posting here. And besides, sometimes it feels like the only free time I have is at work when things are slow, and I don't always feel like I can post about things there.

I know I always seem to be busy, but I've really outdone myself this time. I'm still working full time, and I started going back to school again half time for an Associates in Computer Science. Although my Intro to Computer Science teacher thinks I won't learn much from an associates there, and I'm better off taking the Computer Science GRE and going for a Masters (UCLA's Masters looks very nice, although it looks like I wouldn't be able to start there for at least a year at this rate). Of course I DO have a perfect score in that class so far:). I tried taking a similar class at Stonybrook 2 or 3 times, but I was so burned out I would get a 99 on the first midterm, high 90s on the second, really well on the third, and miss the 4th entirely because I wasn't going to class and didn't know when it was. Well, this time I'm determined to complete it, and it shouldn't be a problem at this rate.

The schedule is killing me, though. Mondays I have to leave work early and head straight to class, and then I have class until 10pm, so I have a 13 hour day. Despite the fact that I have a late day tuesday and go in at 11 it still pretty much kills the rest of the week. At least this way I only have one class on wednesdays and get home earlier, but it's still rough. Then thursdays I'm going with my roommate to the class he teaches at the Academy of GET in DirectX programming. Unfortunately it's DirectX 2 and I never went to his DirectX 1 class, and I'm usually too exhausted by that point of the week to even concentrate when I'm there, so I'm not really getting to learn much.

Well, considering the fact that I have to get up in less than 7 hours I better cut this short (there goes the rest of the week. *sigh*)
